Eric studied electrical engineering and industrial psychology at City University, London. He spent a large part of his career in electrical engineering and went back to college and qualified as an NLP practitioner in 2002, and then qualified as a Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist in 2004. He is registered with the National Register of Hypno-Psychotherapists (www.Nrhp.co.uk). Eric enjoys working with people to enable them to achieve their positive outcomes.

Maryanne Beare's goal is to assist clients in attaining a better quality of life in all areas of their lives, gaining a balance that is realistically achievable for each individual.
Her 30 years' experience extends across the UK, Europe, Asia and the Middle East in all of which countries she has provided psychotherapy and Life and Business Coaching.
Some, but by no means all, of the areas in which she is an expert are: Divorce, Relationship Issues, Inner Child Work, Dream work, Work/Life Balance, Stress and Anger Management. She provides a service to couples, individuals and teenagers.
She is a member of the International Coaching Federation and a certified NLP Coach. Her training includes Psychotherapy and Hypnotherapy. She is an NLP Master Practitioner. She is a Divorce Coach and a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.

What is Psychotherapy and Counselling?

It is a conversation between therapist and client aimed at helping them to understand and then resolve their problem.
We are all individuals who have a different set of experiences and situations to encounter throughout our lives. Our reactions to these experiences are also unique.
Psychotherapy seeks to treat the whole person. It can help you explore present circumstances that you are finding difficult, experiences from the past that you find hard to come to terms with, or events in the future you may be worried about. It helps to validate how you are feeling, how your behaviour may be affected and also how your body and mind may be responding. Psychotherapy can help you make sense of the emotions that are controlling you, and the experiences that trigger them. It will strengthen your ability to cope.

The First Step
