NELL PATEL

BSc (Hons) Ost. Med, ND, DO, PG Animal Osteopathy

Nell is the Principal Osteopath and owner of New Haw Therapy Clinic

 

Nell graduated in 2001 from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine with a BSc (Hons) degree in Osteopathic Medicine and a diploma in Naturopathy.

Nell also has a Post Graduate Certificate in Animal Osteopathy and treats lots of Dogs in her Clinic

 

"I'm a structural and Cranial Osteopath and treat patients of all ages for a variety of health complaints including babies, children, teens, up to the elderly, women during and after pregnancy, sports injuries and much more more. I use traditional osteopathic techniques such as massage and spinal manipulation, complemented by dry needling/medical acupuncture and Cranial Osteopathy which I have taken further training in"

Nell's background is in sports science and she has a great insight into the movement and function of the human body. 

"I intimately understand the mechanics of the human body and this is a skill I have developed and refined for over 20 years of helping my patients back to better health"

Harriet Ingham 

B.Ost.

Harriet qualified as an Osteopath in 2015 from The College of Osteopaths. Harriet is a structural osteopath and combines a number of techniques to support her treatment such as soft tissue manipulation, Chinese Cupping, Dry Needling and Taping. Harriet has experience working with all ages from birth to geriatrics. 

 

Coming from a sporting background competing in both Squash and Real Tennis on the international circuit and being ranked in the top 10 in both sports, she has ample experience working with top athletes and supporting them during their pre and post tournament preparation, injury prevention and recovery. She has a passion for supporting up and coming Junior sport athletes, supporting them to compete at the best of their capabilities. 

 

From having two children of her own and gaining a PGCE in Early Years Birth to Five, Harriet has had plenty of hands on experience treating and supporting babies, children and mothers pre and post natal. By combining a number of gentle structural techniques, she is able to guide the body through its natural healing processes. From working in the Early Years Industry and acting as a SENDCO, Harriet a deep understanding of child development and has supported many families and children with additional needs.

Mike Elford 

Mike is a skilled Osteopath and Sports Massage Therapist with over 20 years of experience in the health and fitness industry. A graduate of the London School of Osteopathy, Mike employs an integrated approach to his management plans, utilizing his extensive background in training, treating, and rehabilitating individuals with diverse fitness goals and musculoskeletal issues.

Mike’s practice features a variety of osteopathic techniques tailored to each patient’s specific needs and preferences. He predominantly uses a direct structural approach but also incorporates various indirect and cranial sacral techniques when necessary, ensuring a personalized treatment experience. His comprehensive skill set is well-suited for managing a broad range of musculoskeletal complaints.

As a former professional athlete, Mike continues to pursue his passion for fitness through regular strength training and competitive racket sports. This personal commitment to fitness enriches his professional practice, allowing him to connect with clients and support them in achieving their health and wellness objectives.
